As mentioned in a previousy video of yours. I bought one of these for my Bose speaker. I did order a couple of bluetooth modules which i did intent to install one internally. But when i saw this device i thought it would save a lot of messing about. I did intent to put a usb port in my bose to power it. But like you, i was suprised to find it had a battery in it. The one i bought has different firmware in it and the device is a bit more chincy. But overall. A bargain. Thank you for the upload. Liked.

Therre is problem regarding aux port ...it becomes loose and now its not proprely working...sometimes right speaker works or sometimes left one bt dont run both at a same time

This didn't work for me , I bought mine in like 2017 ,maybe 2018 the board inside is different, dark blue a much tinier mic board says TS-BT35A08_CW6686_V1.2 ,DATE:15-10-09 my batter is attached by wires, after I clipped the wires for the battery and plugged it in the light still comes on solid red like it is trying to charge and it won't do anything else I plan on putting it inside of an old sony radio with an FM modulator to use as a plugin bluetooth speaker because the string that attached to the tuner came off and there were 2 pulleys broken off inside and I can't figure out how to fix it, I got it tuned to the right station for the modulator now , all I need to do is add a 5v wall wart and cut the end off the USB and attach it to a buck converter , or maybe 2 , since the BT module battery was 3.7v and the modulator only takes one AA battery , so I need 3.7v and 1.5 V inside

TIP: This device has auto shutdown when disconnected from bluetooth device after few minutes. No need to desolder the battery.

Hey! its similar case like mine, in my case the module is turning on and off i left overnight charging as it mostly happens with all of us we forget to remove from charging, so the battery is the problem but then how do we change the battery, the battery has no description, lipo battery price is very high for 500 mah its showing 1500 indian rupees and no guarantee of its lasting and durability...i think its not worth the purchase if i use external battery like li-ion battery of 18000 mah then is it possible this thing will work...? how much power will this device need if i put external power bank..? can you give me some tutorial if you know..

Discounted Deals sir don't try to buy batteries online you can find batteries (any shape, capacity) in Mobile hole sale shop and trust me you will shoked after asking for price Exp. I got mine 2000mAH battery for 70 RS and it showing 250 RS online

Static sound when charging and playing music at the same time. Audio quality is also better with the wired 3.5 jack though it declutters the console.

Antonio Talabis Audio quality will always be better with a direct connection. Removing the battery will prevent the charging noises, but also using a decent power supply helps, or a ground loop isolator.

I've got two of them, €4 each locally, so imagine how cheap they must be wholesale. Both are unable to charge (batteries DOA or missing/fake?) but will work if attached to a USB outlet. They also are mono. Well, I guess you get what you pay for. Workable but extremely basic.

Really helpful video!In my case i didnt bother so much about it staying awake than that if i shut down the car,and the dongle is connected to charger,it keeps the charger led powered by its own battery eventualy draining itself,so i coud not leave it connected,i always had to throw the micro usb cable out,this shoud be much better,will try!

I have done the same but mine keeps turning off after a few seconds. I plug the micro usb, it works for a few seconds, it closes. WTF is the problem :(

@@aashishgupta9971 if you want to make it work directly with the charger plugged in all the time. You will have to disconnect the battery from the circuit. With the battery connected it will disconnect every time you put it on charging.

If you want it to automatically power on you can just add a capacitor to the power button, don't remove the power button as you will still need it for pairing another phones; capacitors act as a contactor when discharged (button pressed) then losses that property when charged (button depressed)...that results...when you start the car the capacitor will "depress" immediately just like you pressing and depressing that button Everytime you start the car

Samir Al Jubori just put something that keep pressing the power button all the time and after that when you connect to the power it's been ready to connect to your device. Also I soldering a small wire between two connectors on the switch and I don't need to keep pressing the power button

Thank you for sharing, I bought this on ebay and came looking to see if anyone showed in youtube, so I appreciate it. Some notes on things you mentioned: 1. You wanted the device to power down when you shut the car off like cars with bluetooth do. It was very clever of you to desolder the battery for that purpose IMO. SUPPOSING your car's usb power source (either native usb port or cig lighter adapter) shuts off power when the car powers down, this will ensure that your phone disconnects from the device automatically as you'd expect... BUT if your power source stays on when the car is powered off (most stay on, you still want to charge things or light cigarettes even when not driving), you still have the problem of the device staying on. 2. You still have to hit the power button on the device when you get in the car. So still can't get the functionality of native BT in a car. Oh well. 3. Most BT devices auto power down when out of range. So you wouldn't have to worry about auto disconnect when turn off car as long as your car is not right next to the house. As soon as you walked out of range of the car, your phone would disconnect, and the device would power itself down. (Still clever on your part to desolder battery). 4. MAN!!! China can pump out some CHEAP TECH!!! Full BT tech for a couple bucks. I can't even add BT to an Arduino project quite that cheap, and they've included a battery, audio and jacks, and circuitry for interfacing. Really amazing how cheap tech can get. I love it. And as long as you are okay with ridiculous shipping times and you don't NEED the item right now, it is kind of fun to order this dirt cheap stuff from ebay. You get things in the mail and it's been so long you don't even remember what you ordered. So it's like Santa Tech sent you a present. Very good video.
