bro if you touch on the side he will react with something check the manual and you will undertand it better and yes you have to pairing both sides, usually they do this together but check the manual for details

people have to read the manual because depending on how you hold them in your hands you can turn them off or activate another mode they have that reaction options on touch so you have to be careful when you going to use it or you might end doing thing that you don't understand what's going on

Not sure you can sync them up it might be a faulty battery or sensor

It could be a faulty charging cable, or the earphones could be faulty from factory, can you try a different cable? If not then you can always return it and ask for a replacement

Am highly disappointed in this earphone. The package was top notch with a thank you card on top of it. I clearly read the instructions and use the required charger head for it, yet it kept charging but nothing was happening, the charger was still on 0 and after an hour, it suddenly shooted up to 100. When I put the earphones inside the case to charge, the lights just blinks for a while then it goes of and no matter how many times I try to charge it, anytime I connect it to my phone, the battery is always 50% and in less than 3 minutes time, it reverts back to 0 and turns off. Really wanted to issue a return order but my nephew teared the packaging box. I guess I really wasted a few bucks on this
