i love binge watching shows that are already over and done with. if they’re currently airing, i’d prefer if they released weekly tbh. bc like with bridgerton s2, we waited over a year and i finished the whole thing in 2 days 😭 now i’m like, okay now what?! lol
@Jamieb19942 жыл бұрын
If it's a show that's been aired already completely then yeah I wouldn't mind binge-watching since I can get myself caught up before the next series starts, but if it's a show that's still airing then I find episodes being dropped weekly better.

i completely agree with maggie’s binge-watching opinion by the way. shows coming out weekly is just more fun, creates more momentum and a more communal experience. and some people just don’t have the time to binge or don’t have the attention span for it and then get spoiled.

@Jamieb19942 жыл бұрын
Yeah I agree + I prefer watching episodes of a show on a weekly basis as well since I find it more enjoyable, sure waiting can be a pain, but I'm happy to wait where as binge-watching, in a way I'll do it if I need to catch up on a show, but I feel like binge-watching isn't as fun + if you do that soon a full series comes out then you'll have to wait a good while for them to drop the next series & the wait could be a year or 2.
@disappearingcat2 жыл бұрын
i completely agree with you but also i have a hard time remembering the previous episode when it's been a week since i've seen it. the only except to the rule is if the whole internet is talking about it and making memes like they did with euphoria.

I personally only like weekly episodes in a show without continuity. But when it comes go shows that follow a specific storyline, I much rather binge watching. For me waiting for episodes is frustrating and sometimes i end up forgetting what happened in previous episodes that aired weeks ago. Binge watching makes me feel more satisfied for some reason, since I can watch any amount of episodes i want to watch at the time and finish a certain plot point.

Maggie actually makes a good point about binge-watching since I feel like watching episodes on a weekly basis makes it more enjoyable than watching it in all go. I can understand that waiting can be a pain, but the thing about binge-watching is if you watch a whole series in one go, especially if that series just recently drops, you'll have to wait ages for the next series + another thing is some people may like to binge-watch but some people prefers to take their time & if you like to binge-watch then you've gotta be careful about posting stuff about the show, especially if whatever you're gonna mention contains spoilers. Also when it comes to wireless earphones, at first I weren't sure about them, but after using them & I actually prefer wireless earphones over wired ones since you won't have to be worried about the wire being in the way or anything.

Bluetooth is named after King Harald Bluetooth, who was famous for uniting Scandinavia in 958. In 1996 Intel, Ericsson, and Nokia met to plan the standardization of a new short-range radio technology to support connectivity and collaboration between different products and industries. Jim Kardach from Intel suggested using the term Bluetooth as a temporary code name for this technology until marketing could come up with a really cool name. Bluetooth seemed to fit, because the intent was to unite the PC and cellular industries with a short-range wireless link. But later, when it came time to select a serious name, they ran into problems choosing a name in time for launch, leaving Bluetooth the only choice. The name caught on fast and spread throughout the industry, becoming synonymous with short-range wireless technology.
