I actually own one of these speakers, used it for about 6 months or more ... sounded ok (not winning any sound quality awards but doesnt sound like a potato)......suction cup on the back stuck to the wall in the shower fine and held speaker never falling off once, it held a charge well..bluetooth stayed connected ...paid $6.00 for it..id say it was well worth the $!

I bought one of the round ones 2 years ago in Longford Ireland 🇮🇪. I took it apart gave it a better battery and screwed it to a big speaker. It sounds good still. USB port failed so I added USB battery pack. It runs for days now and I can charge my phone off the spare slot. It says Bluetooth device is ready to pair. It doesn't need that. A bing bong sound would surfice.

They outsource the production of the motherboard.

The motherboard is sourced from another supplier, and the problem is that they do not check the quality of the goods when they are received, thus defects associated with the motherboard are found during and after the assembly.

Hi Paul - Yes you can. I would refer you to AONI Factory - szaoni.manufacturer.globalsources.com/si/6008852018301/Homepage.htm It would cost you a packet in molding costs (say 20-40K USD), but Aoni should be able to produce the high quality and sound of Bose. You don't know. You can estimate. Normally these units take about 2 hours to charge. You take the capacity of the battery (say 1500 milliamp hours), and divide it by the charger rate (say 1000 milliamp hours) to estimate how many hours it should take to charge.

Most of battaries are sourced from Mainland Chinese firms. They go through a much lower QC process than the South Korean, Taiwanese and Japanese Batteries
