Invery works perfectly on mine. Had the Bovee 1000 previously but it kept disconnecting itself after using the phone ( iPhone)

I also use the Bovee, not had that problem but I am using an Android phone

Yes Siri is a pain in the arse. Nexts weeks video, getting apple car play in your Range Rover, Siri actually worked and managed to dictate a message to the hobbit while she was in for some drugs.

Hi Neil, yes it still works perfectly. I've not tried an Android phone on it, but Sam from @SamsMotors was using his Android phone on his, and it was working well.

Ben, I can’t help but notice how great the chrome knobs on your arm rests look, are those stock parts on your model or aftermarket?

They are autobiography style arm rest knobs. Ali express do them for €25-30, easy job to do. There is a link on this page on my site, they say it’s for an L405, but they are the same for an L322. www.bensgarage.org/tdv8parts.html

So you don’t need a cable from phone to something?

No, the Invery plugs into the ipod socket in the Range Rovers centre cubby box, and your phone connects to the invery via bluetooth and plays through the cars stereo, and all the steering wheel button functions work when playing music.

@@Bensgarage Thanks for your help Ben. Mine is sort of working but can’t change to next track from arrows on wheel. It will go back to beginning of track being played but that’s it unless I do it from phone ! Any thoughts please 🙏

@@jspope2008 I'm not sure to be honest. When I had mine it worked straight out of the box. Once my phone was connected to the Invery and I had selected ipod on the cars audio screen, all the buttons worked as they should. Not sure how much help they would be, but you could try emailing Invery to see what they say.

Either change out the head unit, or use an external Carplay screen, like I had in another video (It's up for sale). Unless there is a gadget that will let you bluetooth through the AUX in.

@@stephenadams9767 something like this is cheap and will get your phone running through your stereo, but carplay won't come up on your screen. amzn.to/3nSqo3t Or you have an external screen, dash or windscreen mounted and you connect your phone to that and run the screen into your car via the aux port.
