Let me explain some things. If I am wrong, feel free to correct me. So, the modern Windows OS (7+) and even XP, have some GENERIC drivers for Bluetooth adapters. But, not for Bluetooth DEVICES. Now, what is and adapter? This dongle. So, the OS finds it, installs generic drivers and knowd what it is and how to manage it. What is a Bluetooth device? When try to connect your headphones, mouse, gamepad, camera, phone, printer, another computer, etc to your computer via its Bluetooth adapter, Windows finds them as BT devices. And it does NOT know what to do with them. Maybe some (game controllers, keyboard, mopuose, headphones) are working but most do not. Windows do not know much about sharing contacts from your phone, sharing files or print on a BT printer if there is no driver software. And that driver software came on that DVD. So, yes, this dongle works with any BT device as long as Windows knows what to do with that device. Sometimes, Windows update can help, but sometimes we need that software driver to be installed. So, PLEASE, can you share that DVD?

When I installed the software drivers, it alowed me to connect stereo BT headphones to my PC, but with the generic Windows driver, not. Also, no BT network, no BT phone connect, no BT file transfer or printer with the generic BT driver. That is why we are asking you if you are so kind to share that driver DVD. My DVD suddenly is not read by any DVD drive I have, that is why I am asking also about that driver.
