I love GSR. Favorite couple ever. Bout time they had a couple that wasn't the same age. Every other couple on tv seems to be same age and that's not true in real life. Sure many are but you also got lots of couples that have age gaps. Sara couldn't have asked for a better man then Grissom. They're perfect for each other. Cath couldn't handle his hobbies. Besides he's like a brother to her so why would she want him lol.

That's true. I'm 40 and have been in 3 relationships in my lifetime,never married or haven't been yet. The last one I had been in was 12 years ago when I was in my late 20s,to someone who was a couple years older than me. The one before that she was just a few months younger than me and while they were good for a period after a while things started changing and too many differences began to surface so we eventually ended up going our own ways. However for the last year I have been in a great relationship with a girl of 22 years old,18 years younger than me. But this individual is much more mature and adult than the other 2 combined and we are so happy together. She says being with someone who's been around and a little wiser than the younger folks has been good for her(I'm not sure where she gets the idea that I'm a wise person lol,but if she sees it then that's great). So she may be,to some just a kid while I may be significantly older than her but I feel we are both on the same wavelength and we are very compatible and share a lot in common that puts us both on the same level of maturity,being that she is very mature and responsible at her age anyway. And overall we love each other very,very much. I'm the happiest I've ever been with her over all the others I've been with before. Likewise with her. And for me it has nothing to do with her being so young. She just happens to be someone I have fallen in love with who just happens to be 18 years younger.

I forget the episode early season 6. Grissom brought Sara lunch and Warrick says "Where's the love." meaning Where's my lunch, Dad? Lol Grissom said if he saw him he would have bought lunch to him. Sara winks at Grissom he winks back at Sara when Warrick wasn't looking.

I think that Gil saw a father figure in Gil when she first met him but after a while she ended up falling in love with him. Gil was always the one to protect her, keep her safe and ensure she was ok as best as he could. This couple are just perfect for each other!

@@pyrpleflower7 - Never together?! Oh well. Can't blame you for taking GSR that way. GSR is not your typical Hollywood offering. It's subtle and unconventional. I believe they got together after Nick's abduction. 'Committed' episode was the time Grissom finally got to be honest with his own heart. We were left wondering 'are they or zren't they' most of the the first five seasons. You need to look for it and you'll find golden nuggets, thank to the fine scriptwriting. Remember the hallway scene towards the end of 'Swap Meet' episode? Grissom brought tea to Sara. It's a simple gesture with unspoken implications. He knew she liked tea, and what kind, too. Hello. What did that tell you? He paid attention to the small stuff, didn't he? There're lots of clues in Season Six; again, you need to pick up the clues and innuendoes because GSR was handled in an understated manner even it was an intricate subplot of the show. It was revealed to the viewers in the ' Time Of Your Death' episode that they were together.

@outrageouslycrazy1 Well, you clearly have no understanding whatsoever of Sara's character. As a person [on the show] she is a complex character, and no, Nick or Greg would not make good partners for her. You should watch the entire original CSI and maybe then you'll understand what she's all about. She's not your picture book character like you have on most of nowadays shows.

right, OK - in "no humans involved" we find out the murder was in 1984, Sara having been born in 1972 means she would have been 12.
