"Hey! That's my car!" I think they might need to have a few more generic lines of people expressing anger at their cars being tossed about. I'm not saying to have so many that the chance of hearing the same one again is minimal, but maybe just a couple more for variety? Otherwise like how many cars does that one person own? I know like it's supposed to be multiple different people but the one individual saying the line breaks the immersion of what I think they're trying to do there with ambience. Like "Woah, Ey! That's my ride, you punk kid!" Maybe "Dude, I just got that thing insured!" or "I just bought that car!" Maybe even a reference to that one silly line in that one Street Fighter game I think it was, like the "Oooooh mah car!" as like an easter egg or a rare line or something?

yellow on Shadow has just always made sense to me tbh, like I've never even thought to question it even though it really DOESN'T make sense lol I guess in defense of it, his air shoes and Chaos Spear are both yellow? so too are his inhibitor rings and Unhibited Shadow "energy"-colored trails just make sense I guess, and for characters with less energy going on, trail-colored energy works too

The models & animations are definitely the best part for me. I saw somewhere else (probably on Discord or something?) that Rouge has some of Batman's gliding-related animations, which just feels so fitting. & There was another one I saw where they even included a more detailed version of the animation for Amy spinning her hammer around (which comes from the Amy New Tricks mod by Sora &/or Kell I think!!)

The mod looks pretty great, the sound mixing could still really use some work though, there are lots of instances where background sounds are too in-your-face to the point where it shifts my focus as a viewer away from the main attraction (the playable characters) the music is also placed too far back to the point where the sound effects completely kill it. Otherwise it looks pretty good.

Agh, these 'Modern' mods always overload the game with unnecessary changes to the gameplay and music, and characters have lines from different voice actors. All you need to do is pretty up the game! Don't put a hat on a hat!

I'd love a version of this with absolutely zero audio changes. I feel that's one part of SA2 that doesn't need an overhaul, especially if it's this badly done (mainly the voice acting that is a mix of bad voice impressions and official voice lines). I hope when this mod gets completed there's an audio toggle or at the very least a tutorial of what to delete.

Honestly I was expecting some "Nintendo hire this man" energy from this but this is AMAZINg, I'm blown away. Same omg!! Jason Griffith for Sonic & Shadow, Lisa Ortiz for Amy... All the voice actors from the Sonic X era (Shadow 2005, Riders, Sonic 06, Unleashed etc), except for Tails having his current VA, Colleen O'Shaughnessy (who fun fact also voiced Tails in the Sonic 2 movie with James Marsden & Jim Carrey!!) I hope there's a way to configure the settings to have all of those voice actors' voices enabled instead. But these ones are really cool too!! I just mostly prefer that set of voice actors.

There are many things that can be criticized about the mod but most of them have already been mentioned, on a positive note, Shadow's running animation is kinda cool, it looks kinda like the more modern version but with a similar pacing to vanilla SA2 makes him look (and feel I bet) like he's going super fast

i actually wouldnt hate a remaster of this game, provided the sound mixing isnt like this, i do like the tone you were trying to set here. however, one thing i really enjoy about SA2 and SA is the more cartoonish 3D look, sonic 06 onward they try to go for a more realistic tone and i dont like it, it doesnt feel like a franchise that should have realism, but you kinda gotta keep up with the pace of new games also cant change the voices, much prefer the more mature voices in sonic, shadow, and knuckles in this game. not super familiar with the age of everyone apart from Tails, but it just feels like it makes more sense to have sonic feel more mature no? i noticed they went with younger voices later on, and it did not feel right to me

The new character models look beautiful and the 2D art is gorgeous. I love the extra poses; they feel on brand for the characters' personalities. Voices sounded great to me and Sonic's cheers were legit. But the background sounds are unpleasant and the environment models still look like the original gamecube ones. Not sure if they were touched up too or not.

If the Sonic VA didn't articulate that sharp T at the end of "That was tigh-T!", it would sound more natural. Just a little thing to make it sound less obviously like "I am reading a line out loud". The new voices being tossed out more sparingly, along with a few more people casting the lines instead of one being looped a lot would do a lot of good. Also as others have said, the 100 rings thing being live and learn, sonics new VA, and city escape being put in the backseat are all a bunch of really awkward changes that compromise the experience imo. Also, although I LOVE the new speed and animations of sonic, the levels were not designed with this speed in mind, controls should default to the regular SA2 physics and speed cap, either that or tone down the max speed a bit, or adjust the map to more appropriately respect sonics new speed. As it is now jumping off a ramp almost breaks the level.
