you know how when in a human environment people either try to make the humans took cartoony or the character more realistic... also pretty much why they tried to redesign sonic for the movie to begin with I am pretty sure

Well, it's simple, Movie Sonic, despite still being cartoony, is trying to be realistic overall. This model fits the very realistic looking setting and characters of Sonic '06 better than the original model. This version makes a lot more sense next to this game version of Dr. Eggman, the realistic NPCs, Princess Elise etc. Hell, the Eggman's robots design of this game even kind of looks like the super slick and "tactical" movie design.

Movie Sonic fits *SO* much better in 06 compared to the original 06 Sonic model, that it's not even funny. The design fits with 06's photorealisitc art direction way more organically. . . . It make we wonder what an 06 remake/reimagining or whatever would look like if they gave Sonic & Co. designs more akin to the Movie.

Kenzee i feel like every model/design of sonic somehow fits with the poses he makes on his games and the animations he has on his gameplays reflecting his personality. For example: for 06 he got a tall character design and has a more serious/at the same time happy personality, so for his poses he is more likely to be stretching or saying “yahoo”. In forces he is kinda short and looks a bit tougher, also from what i understood, this sonic doesn’t like showing signs of weakness, so his poses are more simple to kinda show he’s not worried at all because he trusts in people, and his animations more direct and the mouth sounds sound kinda tougher. Another example is unleashed, i feel like here they wanted to stand out his personality (nice and happy in this game) so in his animations he’s always kinda like dancing and saying stuff that make you feel happy while playing “here we...GO”. So my point here is, if we ever get a game with movie sonic, everything must be adapted to that design taking the guidance of the movie. After all, thats why sonic is so unique on each of his games which i completely love. Anybody else had noticed what i said above or am i excessively observant 😅

Except for how short and stiff movie sonic’s hair length looks when he’s riding that Orca whale, I realized that Modern Sonic’s 2006 hairstyle was much longer than how slightly long it looked in the previous Adventure era Sonic’s before 06’ and in the Boost Trilogy era after 06’ 2:26. Sure Modern Sonic’s hairstyle became slightly short like Classic Sonic’s in Sonic Forces after that but... I actually thought Movie Sonic’s hairstyle would actually look that long in Sonic 06’ as I thought it did in the Sonic Movie. Hmm🤔... I wonder if the filmmakers who’re developing the Sonic Movie sequel in it’s development process will actually make his Spiky hair longer in the movie sequel like Sonic 06’s long flowing hairstyle later on🤩?
