I loved trains since I was a kid , playing on train tracks putting coins and rocks on the rails and model RR is something special I also am mesmerized by the signaling. Part of young life was spent in Austria on the semmering RR beautiful.

@@BluGames also in the video you said the game doesnt have enough graphics does the game have RTX mode or Ray tracing cause if you do have that mode you could get a rtx 2080ti to help with that cause it supports reflections that arent in your screen (like behind you ingame)

Class 43, HST, intercity 125 roughly 40 years old and been a brilliant British work horse for pretty much every major train company in the UK, sadly are retiring and a new model called the class 800 is replacing them... The HST started life as prototype with a mix of VP185 and MTU fitted engines the original prototypes class 41001(2) were designed by Sir Kenneth Grange, the slower type trian you were driving was the class 166 I believe a passenger express commuter type train.... The lovely big red loco with the freight wagons are called the class 66 also known as sheds or yingers hope this clears some air and some history of the class 43 HST (planes n trains)

I actually take the train from Paddington to Reading (pronounced Red-ing)for work! The have modelled the roof reasonable well. But they have totally missed the ticket barriers on the bridge you started off on that you need to pass thought to get down to the platforms. And if we are being super anal about it, I've never been on a Reading train that departed from platform 3! And yes Reading station is also pretty accurately modelled, looks convincing, and yes the leg room really is that bad as well!

Makes me want to get it! Yes you are pronouncing Reading (as in "eh" rather than "ee") correctly and yes the stations do look like that. ;) I think I'm right in saying that when the HST was first introduced in the 1970s it was the world's fastest diesel train. Used a pair of boat engines! When they go through the station at speed they are LOUD. Nice review!

My grandmothers brother was a test driver for the hst back in the 70’s which back then was called the apt ( advanced passenger train ) it reached a speed of over 145 MPH His name was Harry porter

It is much better than train simulator 2019. Somehow 12 months difference allowed them to jump beyond a 720p resolution and incorporate a walking function in station.

TSW 2020 was a free update you didn't have to pay for it. However if you bought the base game couple years ago it only came with CSX Heavy Haul. Now the base game comes with 4 routes for the same price. So you got penalised for buying the game in the past and having to buy the base game again to get many DLC's ( cheaper). I really enjoy TSW though... the latest DLC's have improved a lot recently

It can actually reach 140mph but due to passenger safety trains where restricted to 125mph.

Glad that this game is much better than train simulator 2020 and all versions this game is made on latest engines but the original train simulator still runs on old engine with dx9 and gives only 30-60 fps this game gave me 70-100

Seems like the train is sliding on glass. would be nice if it had some cab sway to it for immersion.

I know exactly how you feel, I bought this game a while back as it was on sale, I think it was £13.87 (which I believe is just over $16) it was something different, you know? I went into it knowing jack shit about trains. The game turned me into a bit of a train enthusiast in a matter of weeks.

You should play Train simulator 2020 rather that train sim world. Train simulator 2020 is just so much better in my opinion. It has way more scenarios than TSW, more trains and just more fun in general. Sure the graphics are not that good but it's a great game. It (train simulator 2020) also has great reviews. Definitely worth the price! Just make sure you get free scenarios when you buy the game because you would have to buy scenarios with money but they are amazing.

@@BluGames No worries :) just a tip for braking, when you are 0.7 away from speed limit, just start gradully breaking, and assign the brakes and throttle to keys on the keyboard, makes life so much easier :)

Done over 100 hours in Train simulator 2020 that runs awful on a high end pc, great game.. this TSW looks good as fps at 144 most of the time but god its boring & the track keeps drawing itself over and over..
