Multiplayer is usually hard for me also for the same reason. But if our schedules ever match up we should run together sometime

How does it balance with TS5? I've been looking at TS5 and the graphics look considerably better (trees and other vegetation for example) but what about the technical aspects of the two sims? Which drives better in terms of physics and operations?

@@ShizukuSeiji while tsw5 is the best looking game, I do feel that run 8 has better physics than tsw5. Now, you will still get realistic operations with tsw5. However, with run 8. You can’t be a madman on the rails, you could derail, break a coupler knuckle, or and even worse! Both are great options though, but for different reasons

@@ShizukuSeijitsw has great graphics but mid gameplay Run8 has mid graphics but gameplay is 1000x better

@@ShizukuSeiji Oddly enough, I find the game immersion much higher in Run8 than TSW. Somehow I personally get a better sense of a 3D world with Run8 graphics than I ever did with TSW, and I had thousands of hours in the TSW and TSC games.

Thanks for doing this video! That yard is less than an hour away from me. I bought Run8 near the end of last year but I haven't played it yet. Can this only be run multiplayer, or is there a single-player option that allows you to view things going on at the other end of the train?

Yea u can do either singleplayer or multiplayer. And there a free cam also

Just some small Tips for you about Real-Life railroading, when running on mainline local service without Ditch-lights On, there is a Speed Restriction of 15mph FRA rules just so your aware of that next time as some players may get angry with you. As for Mainline Trains all Speed Restrictions are under 20mph without Ditch-Lights On. When another unit ahead of you is going to pass you make sure you turn Main Headlights down as to give way not to blind the other crew. One of the things you want to keep in mind when preforming power moves of loaded Freight cars when using power is your "Amp Gauge" Green is Good, Yellow is OK, Red is Very Bad, need to let the Power build up and Load before adding more Power, if the too many Amps are loaded that's when you're in trouble as your destroying something at that point.

I just started to get into run8 a few days ago, man I’m still LOST. I can get a train moving, load-unload just fine, but tagging? Knowing where to go? Still a clueless girl running in Circles
