Is there a tweed bassman that you adore almost as much as a plexi? Just wondering? because as we know the plexi is a British bassman essentially? I was also wondering is the hk rotosphere and your other great creations inside AmpX and does it sound as good?

Thomas I totally get that you want a comprehensive offering before you release, but for many the high gain stuff is not really of interest, so I wonder if there is any value in releasing two models of the same unit (like a blues/mid gain version and a metal high gain version) .. I imagine you would not be interested but thought to ask anyway.

I've been watching the Studio Rats for a couple of years. I saw the interview Thomas is talking about on their channel. There's a saturated Gary Moore solo that Thomas talks over. Very low volume. Then Thomas rolls back the volume on his guitar and the tone cleans up. It's the most gorgeous clean ever, and they're both talking over it. My jaw hit the floor. I play in a band most weekends, but I get the most pleasure playing at home. Thomas - you are god's gift to guitarists! - Much love from the UK!

Ich habe zwar ein Quad Cortex, aber die voll analoge Klangerzeugung macht natürlich wirklich neugierig. Wird es den AMPX nur im Direktvertrieb oder auch z.B. bei Thomann geben? Wird es einen Editor geben, um Presets editieren zu können? Lässt sich bei Zimmerlautstärke natürliches Feedback erzeugen? Und/oder wird es einen Feedback Simulator geben wie zum Beispiel beim Fender Tone Master Pro. Wieviel wird jeweils ein Blugprint kosten?

Viele Fragen: ein paar Antworten : Wir beliefern erst unsere Vorbestellungen, dann Händler wie Thomann. Einen vollen Editor haben wir nicht geplant, eine Preset Verwaltung ist geplant. Feedback bei Zimmerlautstärke ist möglich Preise für BlugPrints sind noch nicht fest, da wir noch nicht genug Erfahrungen haben… Wir planen Kategorien für Effekte und Amps die dann unterschiedlich kosten werden/müssen.

I love Plexis more then anything else... It’s perfect to me : great for everything from clean to mean. Takes pedals and I can use the volume pot on the guitar at its best....

No final decision yet, but we think a about 3 categories: like 29,- (effects) 59,- (effects) 99,- (for amps) Mind that AMPX comes with the full range of Bluguitar AMP1 sounds from AMP1 Mercury and Iridium edition plus all kinds of basic effects from Wah boost drive modulation and delay. The purchasing BlugPrints are for special effects and amps. In comparison to “Profiling or capturing” we are re-designing amps and effects with maximum authenticity including the behavior of controls like gain and Tone controls etc. This process is very complicated and take days or even months…

Any headphones with mids. I found those modern scooped headphones 🎧 for rap not good for guitar. The more balanced, the better...

Hello Thomas. You've talked a lot about how the Amp X is able to sound similar/identical most/all amps out there. You've backed that up with demos that prove it's not only talk, but that you also walk the walk. My favourite amp is the Matamp GT120 (Orange OR120 is very similar). This amp has a high pass filter after the input stage and it uses a baxandall tone stack. It's a very sought after amp in the stoner/doom genres and I was wondering how close the Amp X can get to these kind of vintage amps that are built a little different from the traditional vox/fender/marshall that gets most of the attention.

Unfortunately I don‘t like the aluminum/silver … sorry 😉 But I am quite sure that will be the only think which I will dislike 👍🏻 The sounds/videos from the KZbinrs are already very promising. Dear Thomas - if you are yet to sign off of the final hardware I have one strong suggestion I hope you will consider. It is not important for everyone and I understand that it isn't for you, but please think about at least minimum specs for us stereo riggers: The best way could be a dedicated output to go to a future BluGuitar power amp only and the minimum way could be to at least have an output which could substitute the 1control but directly from AmpX presets. Cheers!

😒,,,the deep night for guitar world and music today at all sense,,, this is without internal cab sim? 2000 euros ? mahh .. too much . this is analog power amp, preamp with an old patent nano tube , !, not sense use external amp cab and mic with this . If you play it with external cab sim IR sound changed at digital output at PA console , . classic valve amp is better at this point . my opinion

Sorry you got it wrong! There are 5 internal IR based cab sims that all can be used at the same time. These can be assigned to each of the 5 outputs individually to give you any option to play guitar speakers or FRFR cabinets… so no worries, we are not stupid!

I have heard you say it does but I also heard something conflicting from you before - and you have never really illustrated - how saving EQ-settings per preset actually work.... Amp1 has „only“ one EQ section that is shared across all four channels. On the forthcoming AmpX everything including EQs can be stored and recalled per patch.

AMP1 can not store EQ settings. Therefore we have individual custom Tone controls on the side to give each channel it’s unique voicing, bass middle treble is a master EQ to match all channels to the cabinet/room. It actually works! (In it’s own style)
