Abdrazakov ist für mich der derzeit beste "basso cantabile" der Welt mit einer umwerfenden baritonalen Höhe! Und dass Hvorostovsky so früh die Bühne verlassen musste, darum kann man nur weinen.

Un minunat urmaș. Rusi au o pepiniera De valoroși interpreți de opera pentru ca au coruri si tineri cultivați chiar din copilărie. Este o mare fericire sa asculți o voce care se potrivește perfect cu chemarea inimi si creierului tău. Vocea ascultata si preferata este o completare cred a unei stări sufletești unice. Pur si simplu doar aceea voce te echilibreaza. Nu am aceeași stare zilnic de aceea am preferințe care sunt clipele mele de fericire maximă.

I was listening to this excellent duo, thoroughly enjoying their performance, when, in the middle of the duet, the music suddenly stopped, interrupted by the loud shouts of an advertisement. 아브드라자코프는 범상한 바리톤 가운데 최고 수준의 바리톤이다. 그러나 흐보로스톱스키는 바리톤 역사에 높이 떠 있는 태양이다. 소리가 좋고 큰 바리톤은 세상에 많고도 많다. 그러나 예술적으로 품격이 높은 노래를 부르는 바리톤은 그렇게 많지 않다. 아브라자코프는 군데 군데 음정이 정확하지 못한 곳이 지적된다. 흐보로스톱스키에게는 없는 문제점이다.

beh, non esageriamo... non hanno il "calore " ( e colore?) italiano, vero, ma questo è un concerto, molti in concerto sono più freddi che in palcoscenico probabilmente in una rappresentazione scenica sarebbero più emotivamente coinvolti.Non mi sembra insomma che siano così indifferenti al testo. Poi il più anziano interpreta il personaggio più giovane e viceversa...

The conducting is shit and, as a result, there are some very awkward moments vocally and instrumentally. Hvorostovksy is still the greatest baritone of his generation IMO. Abrazakov has an impressive instrument but he is definitely a bass baritione, not a bass. I prefer a bass in this role. One will see how he develops.

One sings pretty freely and, I know from having heard live, projects well. The other looks like hard work and pushes (hardly the type of Bellini line which Chopin admired). You decide who is who!
