I'm new to the game, whats the purpose of stacking the cove? is it insurance if the game goes late game to convert the cash to health or buy expensive skills?

It's for money. Buying it early lets you get free cash when you eventually sell it later. Like for the chocolate bar events. If you take the free option, that's +5 gold when you sell the cove. Or gumballs, becoming effectively free. It just stocks value as you play the game buying and selling items.

It's hard to say what will happen later in the game. Sometimes a series of skills seal the win. Those or 24g each. Or sometimes a perfectly enchanted diamond item does the trick. I think those run all the way up to 96g. Or sometimes, a complete build swap is in order if the luck goddess puts the right items in front of you - it's more fun too. Saving money on the econ item is, put simply, keeping your options open. Games are lessons for life, ultimately. :)

Why keep the trebuchet for so long? Wouldn't a shield item or so be better (or harpoon or sth), all the dmg comes from Blunderbuss and fire anyway

What does "when you burn" mean?? Is it when you get burned or when you burn an enemy?

It’s when you apply burn. Technically it doesn’t matter if you’re burning yourself or your enemy (Dooley has items that self burn).

Wouldn't it be better if you sell 2 rightmost items(burn ones) and place Incendiary Rounds to the left of the Blunderbuss? That way you would only have 2 sources of burn in your comp - Rounds and a skill. So combo would go MUCH faster because Blunderbuss would always exactly retrigger itself to the full and then again and again? So there wouldn't be a random fuss when you shoot with a Blunderbuss, burn with some other item, go to 50% CD, then use burn from a skill + Rounds, sending a Blunderbuss to a 50% CD again, instead of the loop.

At 13:09, is there a reason why Kripp doesn't just sell his Cove and buy a new one? That would just reset Cove, but he'd get 24 gold in the meanwhile.

It’s a strong Econ item. You get gum balls for free, chocolate gives you money. It continues to grow in value. So that when you have an important buy that you can’t afford, you cash in by selling it.
