Amazing!! I love grahams choice to just sit back and make some noises for like two minutes, and then come in with such heavy chords. Probably my favourite drums on Blur song too!!

i was listening to the "battle jam" (on blur's 21 box) a lot and got inspired when i recorded this. man, i would've loved to watch blur recording "13" in studio, can you imagine being there?

@@smallman5721 although it's not part of "13", i always tell people i would've loved to see them recording "essex dogs". but things like "bugman" and "1992".... damn, it'd be awesome too! well, except for the depressing bits, as you mentioned.

Battle is my favorite song; it's been my anthem since '99. The Figurehead by The Cure had that spot (for me) for a good 6 years prior to that. The best version I've ever heard of Battle, was on MuchMusic (Canada) and I no longer have a copy of it on VHS. Damn... You nailed so many things I love about this song. If you can pull all of this off here, you'd have no problem with "Bela Lugosi's Dead". Well done.

hey peter! thanks a lot for your comment, you're very kind! in 95% of the cases, i don't use amps/pedals at all and use avid xpand!2 for synths. i know it sounds a bit boring but i'm studying the idea of making a video showing step by step of how i record my covers! stay tuned for it and thanks one more time, hope to talk soon again!✨

i think it's gonna take me a while to finish ALL damon's songs lol. i'm almost halfway done with blur but i've already started doing some non-blur covers (gorillaz, graham coxon, dave rowntree etc). after i'm done with everything, i'll probably redo it all, but on bass the next time. i still need a lot of time :)
