I cannot believe i hear some audience shout 'Wonderwall' and others provoke laughters in this wonderful gig which is so stupid. what are they coming to this gig for.... Damon's atitude here is so matured. I love you guys, Blur!

I love this song. I think it's their absolute best ever. The whole Blur album is great. Every song is a masterpiece.

Hermoso tema, para mi uno de los 3 mejores albunes que ellos tienen. Larga vida a Blur. 1997 fue extraordinario para retomar la buena música.

Liam is amazing. Damon is brilliant. Britpop is great, and music is wonderful! :D
@Swim_Jonse7 жыл бұрын
"Britpop is great" What? I think you missed the whole point Damon was going for post-MLIR + reinventing himself with Gorillaz and on his own later. Britpop isn't great. It grew into a commercial commodity that was out of control. Blur essentially brought it into being and took it out as well. The self-titled was a rightfully deserved bullet to the back of the genre's head. The Gallagher brothers might not have cared or noticed how fake and ridiculous things had become but whatever, no sense in arguing with them or Oasis fans in general.

Honestly at this stage of their career Blur reminded me more of a British Weezer than Oasis.
@Swim_Jonse7 жыл бұрын
They were heavily influenced by American indie/alt-rock at this point so that's not a surprise. What is a surprise is why it took them so long to pick up on what Radiohead already had nearly six years earlier.
@pg91937 жыл бұрын
Blur were around for a while before Weezer -- plus blur admit to being more influenced by the likes of Pavement and Guided by Voices at this point

@@pg9193 yeah, but what blur was doing before Weezer did Pinkerton wasn't like this, it was a different style of music

Blur were great... what happened to those guys? Albarn is making that crap with Gorillaz, Coxon still makes good songs but... not the same. James is a cheese-maker!! About Rowntree... who cares? Albarn cannot sing "America". Can't he sing in his loudest tones?
