For the longest time I didn’t buy blushes because I always felt they looked so clownish and unnatural on me. For years I only owned two Chanel powder blushes that I used for special occasions, otherwise I would just skip the step altogether. I realize now since watching you that my dislike of blushes comes from not knowing how to apply them. These techniques have really made me enjoy wearing blush and not feel like I’m wearing clown paint.

An idea might be to do a deep zoom (if you feel getting even more up close at your face!) as the final shot on the don’t as sometimes you can really see what’s wrong about the don’t but other times it just looks off but you can’t exactly see why. Thank you again for taking the extra time to explain why. It’s beyond helpful!!

Indie cosmetics make loose powder blushes. I have some that are bright and beautiful. Can be absolutely intimidating. Loose powders for eyes and face are what I use mostly. Palettes are easier to see the colors. But I enjoy the versatility of loose powders. Hope you enjoy the new experience!!

I just wanted to say thank you for making truly educational content! I have been doing my makeup since I was 15 and an OG KZbin beauty community follower ( we’ re talking the shaky cameras back in 2007 😄) and I thought there isn’t anything else under the Sun that I should know to perfect my makeup application. I mean it looks good on me and I get always compliments on my technique and skill. But boy was I wrong! I have learned so much in the couple of weeks since subscribing. Love all your videos, this one is a true gem! QUESTIONS: (1) Can you use the Patrick Ta method with any cream/powder combo? I have several One/Size Cheek Clappers with 3 formulas, so just wondering. (2) Can you use "any" powder to set your foundation for powder blush - I have the Givenchy prism libre pink, Laura Mercier loose powder, and Nars soft matte pressed powder (which is a light color, not transluscent) and Huda Easy Bake pressed powder in Cherry Blossom Cake
