For the most part, I can dance skate forward really good, however they say if you can’t back skate, you can’t skate, so with that being said, I’m still an intermediate skater that can’t skate backwards. Lol But your video makes it look easier and you actually incorporated smooth moves to make it look professional. Nicely done Kate!

Well there you go. This video came up in my recommendations. I started ice skating more than 55 years ago and roller skating 50 years ago but never mastered backward skating. Am 60 plus tomorrow and after 30 years I’m thinking it’s time to dust off the skates and try again with backwards skating. Great video thanks so much for sharing. 😂🤣😂 wish this video was around back in the day.

Great video! Subscribed! This was actually helpful, straight to the point, and perfectly organized. I like how you had those slides in between each move you were about to teach and the important tip written on it. Oh and also how you compared new moves to things we probably already knew, like at 3:54. You also do your transitions (whatever you call that move when you would turn around to skate in the other direction 4:19) so effortlessly! I’d love to see a video on your own tips with those.

Hmm, Ik u commented this 2 months ago but one tip I can give is to bend down, like really bend down and then go back up when you're about to close the bubble, a channel I really strongly recommend is dirty school of skates, she helped me so much!!! Good luck 💖💞
