Great shave, John! Yeah, man that Wholly Kaw lather looked fantastic, but you're right that sticker price for a tub or the bundle probably causes a lot of folks to think twice. However, the luxury speaks for itself.

Thanks James! Agreed it’s pricy but the quality shows . Thanks for stopping by man

Hey Jon great shave, I just purchased the Blutt with .99 based on many reviews saying this plate was better than the .86. But now after my first shave it was really smooth but not as efficient as my BB Ti which is my GOAT for efficiency but not smoothness. Is the 1.20 a lot better than the .99 or only minor improvement?
@TT-dz8zf2 жыл бұрын
I bought the Blutt with 0.99 and 1.2 plates. After trying the 0.99 for 3 shaves, I switched to 1.2 and….Holy smoke! It’s so efficient and smooth at the same time. I paired the 1.2 with Astra and never want to switch to another combo again. I’d say if you are OK with the BB, you’ll appreciate the Blutt 1.2’s smoothness while not sacrificing much (if at all) on efficiency.

Hello, how are you? I have a very important question for me that no one could answer: What is the difference between the Super Badger Shaving Brush and the Silvertip Badger Shaving Brush?
@johnshaves19963 жыл бұрын
If I am not mistaken super badger and Silvertip are the same grade of hair but super are more likely to have treated tips whereas silver tip is rarely ever treated. An issue with these classifications are they are going to vary widely based on the manufacture

Hey what's up John, nice vid. I wanted to ask you something. Those nylon washers that go between the handle and the base plate, do you use them or not? Thanks
@johnshaves19963 жыл бұрын
I do use the nylon washers most of the time just for the sake of not scratching the base plate
@chrisspertos97843 жыл бұрын
@@johnshaves1996 me too. ok, I asked around and people told me that the shave was better without them. I'm going to shave now without them to see how it is.
@johnshaves19963 жыл бұрын
@@chrisspertos9784 there may be some merit to that . My karve aluminum seemed to do better without it. Also they recommend not to use one
