That's the problem with these New Age deals.... Artists don't know whether they are coming or going. It's a war between management and its the art that suffers. Personally I feel it's best to stay Independent that way if the release does not do as expected you have no external forces to blame and just keep moving. The SA urban music industry is in crises where marketing and PR(or a lack thereof) is the order of day to day business. Sensational headlines and propaganda have blurred lines that the musicians themselves don't even know who to trust. If your manager is convincing you to F-boy ish just to prop up the numbers best believe your time is up.
