I used the original Blynk and it was great. You've taken it and made it much more expensive, and pretty much unusable. I can't tell you how long I've wasted trying to find where to setup/configure datastreams (because I still haven't found it!)

The UI can't safely be used for many applications because the activity elements can't be configured to require confirmations, e.g. "Are you SURE you want to detonate the Claymore Roomba (y/N)?" This simple and extremely useful feature was requested early in the development of Blynk's first version, and again at the launch of the second version... someone on the team even said, during the launch Zoom (etc.) meeting, that it would be implemented in V2-- but as far as I can tell, it still isn't there.

First of all, please don't detonate anything! Especially with Blynk. But if you need a confirmation, there are ways to do it. For example, when button is pressed, you can send a value to the hardware, then using SetProperty change the button label to something like: Press again to confirm. Wait for user input. If user confirms - do the action, then update the button back. Option B: Use a hidden button for confirmation and unhide it, when first button is pressed. Option C: Use a long switch widget to reduce the probability of accidental tap You are a maker, Blynk is just a tool. Be creative with the tool!

@@blynk Oh, sure, I know there are workarounds (and some of my projects implement them, out of sheer necessity). But what I asked for (and was told would be implemented) was a simple checkbox in the UI to turn on/off a modal confirmation dialog when pressing a button, changing a value in an entry box or slider, etc. This is very obviously a task best performed by the client; there's no need to involve the server, nor to expend any bandwidth, or wait for interactions to complete on slow connections; it is such a common problem, it should have a clean and efficient solution. Add a checkbox per changeable UI element ("Confirm on chenge/press"), and throw a dialog box with "Confirm" and Cancel" options when the user changes the state of an element having the checkbox. This doesn't seem like a particularly big ask.

@@bradjackson9660 Sure! It seems that this feature never got enough requests from community or businesses to make it to product roadmap. But as you know, Blynk is being developed every day. So it will definitely be done (sorry, we don't know when, yet)
