Hard lines mate, better with a bit better sea running and more colour in the water. Great to see a decent Abu multiplier and Cod 6 rod being used classics are always the best. The bites were more than likely small coal fish or whitings raggying the bait, tight lines and hope you've had a nice christmas.

Rule of thumb for the pier up to the bend at night .bend to the end in daylight work's for me .

I rekon the culprits are likely to be Podlars (coalfish for the modern day anglers)
