I don't really follow blythe that closely anymore, but i looked for info on her and she is a lottery doll. So that is probably why her secondary market price is so high. She is for sale on a number of doll retailer sites but she is more then her original price. So unfortunately if you want her you are going to have to pay more. I did a Google search and a bunch of retailers for her came up. Good luck :)

do you have any liddle kiddles? they kinda remind me of little mini-blythes (even tho kiddles were first).. i wanna get some kiddles but they're too expensive to get good ones that aren't already all messed up.. my mom has some in their boxes but she won't give them to me..

I don't collect the lps blythe. I do find the new LPS really cute and i have a few of them but i was never a fan of the original mini blythes. I am happy that they seem to be doing well in the stores though! I should probably start a 90's LPS video series hahah

Hey seeing as you have a lot of blythe dolls, i was hoping you could help me out. You see, Ive wanted this blyhte dool, "Coco Collette" and i was wondering if you could tell me where i can buy one?? Ive tried ebay and amazon, and they added 100-150 dollars on the actual price by junie moon, and i cant buy it on junie moon because they no longer sell it, but it is still on the website. Any suggestions?????

The Blythe doll is originally from America. Kenner produced her in the 70's.

Could you post more info on the difference between EBL and SBL? Thank you in advance!

***** the main difference between EBL and SBL is the face plate. The first release of SBL have extreme downward glancing eyes that Takara later changed due to customer complaints. I also believe that the finish on the face is shinier then the EBL blythes. I hope this helps

Mallor Grant most are 11 1/2 inch dolls

My Blythe's clothing and shoes are all by sugarmag. I was lucky enough to have a store where i live that sold Blythe and clothing for them, but they are no longer in business. I would try ebay, etsy, sugarmag/par avion is the company all my clothing is from and i think they still have a site. And also Mimiwoo.com sells Blythe clothing i think. I hope that helped!

While i do thing that Pullip is a great doll and they come out with a lot of different dolls i feel like they are not as nice of quality ( that they are wigged with poor quality hair and their clothing is not as nice of quality, the ones that i have from year two) as Blythe. I also think that Blythe has an innocence to her that pullip lacks. But i do think that Blythe lacks diversity compared to Pullip.

I grew up in the Goth community and lots of guys painted their nails (Granted, 99% of the time they were painted black). To me it doesn't hide masculinity at all. You probably just aren't used to seeing it. I'm sure if you see it more often it won't be confusing anymore :)
