We just wanted to take a minute and thank you for your sharing as you travel; we watch you as you post and enjoy you as a couple, and also love Pistol. We too have started a Channel as we approach Van Life that will consist of a 10 year plan as we change our way of life, and as we work to place ourselves in PCB for a retirement destination. Hope you have time to tune into us as well, and maybe one day we will cross paths!

What an incredibly interesting video. Thanks so much for taking us along. It would be something if you return to the Center of the World and talk to the caretakers. Obviously they’ve devoted their lives to this astounding work. Because of the nature of the place, I wonder if they saw it in a dream. Just a thought. You guys rock, plus you’re pretty funny, Irene.

Happy Thanksgiving to The Careys! I loved this video! I read about the Blythe Intaglios a while back and thought it would be great to see them; you have done that for me. I also saw a video about The Center of the World in Felicity and plan on seeing it for myself in the near future. Thank you for sharing your travels with us!! Irene your guitar playing is moving rapidly! Soon you'll be fingerpicking. 😘

Hey our little VAN Halen....I can't wait until you play your first Concert. Colin and I will come and wave our lighters in awe of the little musician. Hey girl you are precious. Keep up that great work. Even Mary had a little lamb is hard to play when you are first learning. I learned the piano, so I know from whence I speak.....Enjoy your lives you too. Give Pilot a hug for us...Happy Thanksgiving. Carolyn and Colin

Just found your channel and loved watching the travels through Western Montana where I grew up, especially Flathead lake where we spent summers at a friends cabin. I also enjoyed the Coast times since I lived in Newport for ten years. By my photo can you guess where I worked? Best job ever!
@CareyOnVagabond6 жыл бұрын
GKONP Wow! How cool is that! I loved growing up in nw Montana and spending my summers at various lakes. We camped a lot at Yellow Bay and spent time at a friends cabin near Bigarm. Yaquina Head lighthouse! When I was in the coast guard in Newport in the late 80’s before there was an interpretive center, we had keys to the lighthouse and could take family and friends inside. Did the coast guard have an emblem in the center of the rotunda? Big debate among staff.

There's a "Center of the Universe" in Wallace, Idaho too. I wonder which one is more accurate. I suppose you'd have to go to the edge of the universe and start measuring in. Good luck with that... something to think about on a dark scary night in the desert.

I wonder how long Center of the World has been there? I'd hate to think I lived in Yuma for 13 years and never knew it was there (I moved away in 1985... But it's never too late. I still go to Yuma a lot because my mom is there and since I drive from Santa Cruz area I will definitely check it on my next family visit (now that I've been informed).
