Love the overall sound of this album, especially with how much of a haunting feel from Elijah’s cleans. Also love those background vocals during the chorus in finding euphoria!!
@garg0y7e2 ай бұрын
Fade is the “canon” version, Fade (Into You) is supposed to be an extended bonus track that wasn’t supposed to be part of the album, since the second to last track loops back into the intro. At least that’s what I gathered from Elijah’s Twitter.

I had a problem with Fade(Into You) but after the band said they liked that version more and wanted to release it as an extra bonus track. The album ends with Finding Euphoria and I think its a top tier album and highly up there with AOTY nominees. This album feels like the "Death of Peace of Mind" or the "I let it in and It took everything" from Cane Hill. It feels just that big in every aspect.

That’s exactly what I just said today, it definitely sounds like death of peace of mind but heavier

Already watched on the Patreon, so just commenting for engagement. Legendary vocal performance by Elijah, and the rest of the band isn't far behind.

It's really interesting how Cane Hill evolved their sound over the years. Back in the day they sounded a lot more like a heavy fusion of nu metal and metalcore/hardcore. Only really after the wonderful Kill the Sun EP they started this more modern progressive metalcore sound with tracks like Blood & Honey. Now we're here with this new album and I absolutely love it. It's great when you see an evolution like that, that makes you appreciate both where the band came from and where they are now.

Not a historical Cane Hill fan but this album is pretty incredible! The production is huge, the drops and breakdowns leave a mark and there are some seriously anthemic choruses. Definitely going to be a contender for me this year...one of only a handful of albums I've given multiple listens so far. It reminds me of Color Decay and the elevation that gave TDWP.
