Hi, It depends on the place or the temperature where you left the filter drying. To make sure it is completely dry, verify by touching it more than once and when you feel It's completely dry you can oil it again. At least we'll advice you one complete night, but It depends a lot on the exterior temperature or air conditions. It's important that the filter is completely dry before oil it, if not the oil won't work properly. Thanks BMC Staff

How often clear this filter ?

Hi, It depends on how much you use your car or in what kind of conditions: off road, dirty roads, streets ecc... We can usually say that with our filter you can do a medium of 20000 or 25000 km before cleaning it. You can check after this distances and see how much dirty the air filters is and consider if It's time to clean it or not. Thanks BMC Staff
