The older you get the more this song hits you.. makes sense why generations before mine fell in love and actually felt it because everybody had no problem expressing how they truly felt even when things went bad. Our generation lost that and that's why I can't stand this new music but I know I can always reach back in time to catch that vibe and hopefully I get blessed with a special person who feels the exact same.

I feel that! Don’t ever give up tho. Acknowledge your feelings and grow from it. Funny story actually, way back in high school I used to listen to this song literally all the time when I had my first heart break. I even discovered I had a quick ability to learn things on the piano. So I’d sneak away during study hall to the auditorium and play it on our schools beautiful piano. I got pretty good at it and a girl heard it from the hallway and came to see what was up. We’ve been in love ever since. 10yrs🤷♂️

That vibe when you wonder if you do ever cross that person's mind... That person you used to shoot the breeze with, spend endless nights with.... someone you could confide in and just be 100% real & solid with. It's a totally different feeling with that one special someone & everyone has that person, one they truly never really got over. Sometimes when you're alone and you think of that someone, you wonder if they're thinking of you too. They may not be there physically anymore, but they will forever remain in your memory....

Saw him in Kansas and what an amazing show it was. Drove twelve and a half hours to see him perform. Truly legendary. Sorry for everyone that was sitting around me. I sang just about every song and did not care. Just another guy trying to mend his broken heart. Thank you Brian McKnight for making wonderful songs. Just as you said, your music will always be there to help in every way possible.

The real problem, lovely lady, is that it's hard to come up with songs that haven't been sung. and beats that haven't been used. I'm just speaking from the standpoint of somebody who's heard music through four decades.. And I've heard certain people, maybe about 40% actually bring songs, and their Beats, Back. My point is, that we've been doing it for so long that it's actually harder now to come up with something genuine.. Not that it's impossible, it's just harder. I mean you probably heard, like what , 4 remakes of one song in your life? And there are a lot of songs that have been done this way. I guess that's why I love praise and worship more than anything, because it doesn't matter that the song is old. Sometimes it's just better , delightful, or whatever, hearing someone new sing it!! Be blessed

Lavica Wiggins The artist are there hell Brian McKnight, Joe, Tyrese, Tank are all still in their prime. It's the damn record companies that keep pushing bullshit artist out there, that forces these dudes to have go independent. Record companies rather launch a dude like Bruno Mars (who is talented btw), because he doesn't look like a typical R&B dude. The same can go for Robin Thicke and Justin Timberlake, among others. R & B music is Soul Music and record companies have been trying to manufacture it since Chuck Berry and Little Richard took the stage they ran out Elvis. This type of music has an identity and it's really hard to recreate. Let the real artist continue to do their thing. Ijs
