I'm loving the minion based elemental mage decks that were popular today. Arugal, Book of Spectres and the Elemental package are just too awesome to not be a tier one deck. If you're getting bored of the standard lists, there is a bit of wiggling room in which you can fit in Twilight Drake and Mountain Giant, plus Sunfury Protector to give the deck a bit more punch throughout the game. With the amount of cards you draw, it's not unreasonable to have a Mountain Giant out on turn three or four.

Joey Sung, Toki is not required at all and Pyros can easily be replaced by another elemental. This deck is getting rekt by aggro though.

I have a Gen version of this deck with Sindragosa, The Darkness, and Marin the Fox. Its obviously not competitive but insanely fun to play and currently has about a 60% winrate since the meta is still fresh. God I love this time of year its the only time meme decks are viable.

I replaced Toki for Leeroy, it's more constant and people often don't expect the burst, plus the 1/1 whelps are good Frost Lich targets :)

proto594 toki is just for memes. Any good elemental like steam surger can replace her. Book of spectres is definitely one of the best cards from this expansion but it's utility is limited to minion heavy decks like mech or elemental mage. If you want to play those decks craft it

The only safe crafts are neutrals. As for class cards to craft, Shudderwock is great so you can't go wrong with it. If it gets nerfed, just get dust back.

Almost any time there is a major update to the game they reset everyone's arena run so that old decks can't exist. It makes sense to always have an arena run go as many wins as you can before getting two loses so you can get the most rewards along with a free run.

Not necessarily, they might change Saronite/Dopplegangster so that they don't summon additional Shudderwocks when their battlecries are triggered by Shudderwock (just summon Saronite/Dopplegangsters with the same stats instead).

I don't know if its made yet but if you have blackwald pixie x2 and clockwork automoton x2 and baku the mooneater if played right you can kill the oppent with a 12 damage hero power 3 times to make it 36 damage

Good luck keeping the automaton alive. Thing with Pixie is that it's a worse Nightshade, the 4/4 for 5 that deals damage on entry. That's not a bad card in this deck, but that's all pixie really is, except you can't play it properly until at least turn 7.

First opponent had a cool deck. Unsure if good, but cool. Second opponent kind of misplayed. Third opponent, cube lock variant, may he die by Hellfire. Although they might have some new sweet toys to use, I haven't even looked at the new cards.

Yeah, the concept was nice. He lacked the card draw to make it viable I think. He sat on less than 5 cards basically the entire time, and at the end, he sat on 1-2 cards the entire time. Still, even assuming he had card draw which I'm unsure how he could get the card draw efficiently. Coldlight Oracle went bye bye, so he can't rely on that. I even thought about Fight Promoter, but that one was part of Mean Streets of Gadgetzan, so that one also went bye. Even then, it required control of a minion with 6 or more health which seems a bit difficult. Honestly, Hunter has terrible options for card draw in standard now. If you want to spend 5 mana on a 3/2 Starving Buzzard I guess that works, but that's assuming you have beasts to play as well. I might've missed a new card that helps with this though, but just judging from what I've seen, that's my conclusion.

Baku Hunter seems really underwhelming since there is spellstone and traps are 2 mana cards, it doesn't seem like a hero power you MIGHT use every other turn for only 1 more damage makes up for the loss of traps and other even number synergies. He got max heal off that spellstone, but yeah the loss of some quick healing has done some damage to most classes. Also Silver Sword is the most busted thing I have seen, easy to get a board and can beef up everything super easily

How bad, when face hunter has always only needed 3 Mana beast summons + kill command + hero power to deal 18+ damage. Then any assortment of quick minions can deal the remaining 12

Ed Z And the only benefit is a single point of damage on your hero power. Regular mid range Hunter has more tools and consistency. A better deck will come forward.
