Only big downside I see when comparing the 2 is that Dragons aren't practically synergistic when it comes to Burst compared to Krush who's a Beast so there's more tribal stuff going on. Other then that the new Krush looks cool lol

I think people are underestimating priest in this expansion. Draconic studies is insane now since all the mid-tier dragons are rotating out. You can pretty much guarantee a late game bomb every time.

When I heard about shadowform getting support, and then Spell school introduced with Shadow being one of them, I thought they'll be also adding a card similar to Renounce Darkness. Change hero power and add shadow spells, or something. But it's not :(

I currently play a quest C'Thun, and though I'm sad to see the quest go, I think the deck-emptying strategy through burn is flawed. Almost every game, I would empty my deck with aggressive drawing and quest hero power for zero-cost C'thun. I think I will be using Neeru to try to salvage the C'Thun warlock now that I can't make him cost zero anymore.

The taunt one was an 8/8 but wouldn’t it be more consistent to play the 5/5 taunt tauren and all you have to do is heal to make a 8/8? Fortitude is very good when you get the cost down, that seems like the powerhouse of this deck and the void guy seems good too.

The thing where the card floats in the air happened to me before. First time playing against prime Warlock. I had lethal and that happened so i waited more than 20 minutes and then restarted the game and it counted as a loss. I was pissed

can someone explain to me the thought process for the new nozdormu? "at the start of the game: if both players have this card in their deck, turns are 15 seconds"... so there is no benefit for it to be in your deck, right? because if the other player doesn't have nozdormu, it's just a 7 mana 8/8. the original nozdormu made turns last 15 seconds as long as it was on board and was therefore at least a viable card against stuff like exodia mage or smth like that. i can't see how this version is in any way good, they might as well introduce a new "15 seconds per turn" queue, both players would still have to "consent" but a card slot wouldn't be wasted

It's a meme card. No one played nozdormu in their deck against exodia mage, it was terrible when it came to stunlocking due to animations and wasnt good for disabled gamers. It needed to be removed, ans this new card keeps the spirit of the og alive while not ruining the game for people not having to deal with it. On top of that, adding a new queue wouldn't be a good plan since they already have classic and it likely wouldn't see much use.

@@Gorbgorbenson I am aware that this is a meme card. The "you can use it against exodia mage or smth like that" was meant as an example of use for this card, at least one I have seen. What I wanted to express with the "they might as well make a new queue", was that this is the dumbest meme cards ever. If accidentaly summoned, it won't do anything, if it is in your deck, it will only do something if the other person "agrees" to the meme by putting it into his deck himself. Where is the meme? The fun in using it? Other meme cards at least have some actual use when you WANT to use it. And they are sometimes even better when played by random effects. But this one? Of course there will be some people putting it into their decks, but where is the fun? No random effects, no dumb gimmick that can be used in certain decks. Just waiting for someone to agree with you on a 15 second timer... Feels like a waste of a card

C'thun will not be rotating this year. The 3 Phoenix expansions (Outland, Scholomance, Darkmoon) will rotate with the spring set of 2022.

That depends on how seriously you want to take the game and if you're wanting to play tier 1 decks. If you're just a casual player who likes to play for fun then no... Not worth. If you're wanting to be competitive then yes, it's worth it. This expansion is very strong. But I wouldn't waste your money if you're just going to play casually. But then again, it's your money so it's up to you.

But like I said if you're wanting to play casually you can easily build a couple decent decks by playing daily and getting the rewards without spending money.

Well... He doesn't exactly know, but with Kazakus it's a supersafe bet. Since that card requires your deck to have no 4 cost cards when you play it. You can technically add more 4 cost cards to your deck still, but that makes Kazakus super unreliable.

I really don't like the design of that new Alexstrasza. They're giving every class a neutral sudo pyroblast. It also makes some other legendaries like King Krush, Grom or Al'akir look like trash. Her new entrance voiceline is also terrible imo. Also it makes Draconic studies possibly problematic.

Realistically, it's probably not considered cheating because it would be too difficult for them to actually punish people for doing it. They're still struggling to get bots off of ladder, I don't know how these programs work but I imagine a deck tracker is a lot less visible to the company than that. It is notable that deck trackers are apparently legal for online tournaments (unless specifically banned by a given tournament) but we obviously never see players using them for the world championship or the like so that's a good sign that it exists in a kind of "we don't really want you to do it but can't stop you that easily" gray area. Personally I'd never use one since keeping track of cards (for both you and your opponent, ruling out secrets in play, hand tracking, etc) have always been part of the skill involved in playing a CCG, so using a program for that definitely feels like cheating even if it isn't as per the rules. They should probably just implement them directly into the client itself though if that's going to be the rule, just build it into the game if you want it to be part of the game so that everyone can at least be on equal footing. The current approach is just very lazy and odd, they should come down firmly on one side or the other (which would probably mean adding it to the game itself, given the aforementioned difficulty of stopping it).
