Can you guide me for residence in auckland ? Is it necessary to purchase a car for a daily commute or a job is only available to those who have their own vehicle ? Can't we have two wheeler easily available in auckland instead of car?? Please try to answer these questions, if you have sufficient time.

No. That's his scholarship. If you go there, you can work in your own too and earn money. And your husband can also do part timer while studying. You need around 3k - 3.5k to survive in nz with four family members there
