Great footage of fishing an awesome lake. I hit Champlain every year in the spring. Tell me though, when will they change how these tournaments are run and not have to bring the fish in for weighing? Just doesn’t seem like a great thing to do! Thanks
@BmpFishing5 жыл бұрын
As long as there is proper livewell management and fish care the fish do great. I'm also a firm believer that lots of the fish swim back to there original areas.

Maybe I missed it but I had to look up online what place he finished and by how much etc. Love the vids. Hope this happens again in 2018!

Hey Brandon, I see none of you guys have a passenger console. Do you think the marshal is more aerodynamic than a console.
@BmpFishing7 жыл бұрын
I doubt they are more aerodynamic, but it helps shed weight and also allows for more room when landing fish.
@mcriser7 жыл бұрын
Makes sense, my boat didn't have a passenger console and my buddy bought me one lol.

@zSTEEZzY7 жыл бұрын
i'm new to fishing, can you not use nets in tourneys?
@BmpFishing7 жыл бұрын
It depends on the circuit. We are not allowed any landing nets in the Bassmaster Elite Series.
@zSTEEZzY7 жыл бұрын
ahh that's what i thought. i know its a silly question, its just every time i see you or Scott Martin struggling to land a fish i always scream "JUST USE THE NET!" lol amazing series btw, you make fishing super fun to watch.
@gamesofcontent6 жыл бұрын
I still dont understand the no net rule. Why not require rubber nets if they are worried about the string kind hurting the fish. The rubber nets are softer, thicker, and don't tangle like the traditional nets do.
@BmpFishing6 жыл бұрын
I think a lot of it is to also build the suspense in that moment. Also, it makes it more challenging. I guess you could say its like in MLB they don't allow them to use aluminum bats.
@gamesofcontent6 жыл бұрын
BmpFishing oh ok. I guess I can understand that side of it. I had only ever heard people claim that nets were cutting the gills of fish and stuff like that, which I had never seen.
