Nope, it's not hard to believe, many bm projects are by one person. Its the standard i would say. Imo the best Album ever was by one person, Kanonenfieber - Menschenmühle to be specific.I wouldnt know how to write a bm track with anything besides drums and even them i dont like many times. But it fuckin sucks to arrange drums, i wish i hadnt sold my mpc 5k....And i wish id have learned drumming but im just the string and recording guy. In fact the main reason i don't start another project is that i can't drum and dont have the time to learn it. If i knew better id started with drums and then got over to string instruments. At least i can arrange drms but it is a shitload of time if its to be sound good. BM isn't particulary hard on the string and harmonics side. imo the hardest part are the drums, but i guess a drummer without experience in string instruments would say the opposite.
