Julius here, creator of Irityll. I'm a Vfx student 3D artist and I'm freelancing in this field. This artwork was created when I was experimenting with midjourney beta in 2022 (I further worked on it using photoshop/mattepainting..) it was a fascinating experiment for me. I chose to use it for my album because it's a controversial topic and gets people commenting. Also thanks for all the feedback so far and to BMP for the help 🤘

I hope the band sees comments like this, we don't want your AI artwork. Ask your fans or your artist friends to help you on an album cover. I guarantee someone will step up and make something awesome for you, and maybe you can budget a couple hundred bucks to actually pay an artist, I know I know god forbid we pay an artist. We've all seen the AI art, this was quite obviously made with Midjourney, and only idiots think it's original or different at this point. Please stop.

@@AlexanderPochertPiano AI just started being a thing months ago, so literally every single other band before this had a human artists create their albums covers. It’s part of the experience even as just a lowly fan of the band. We, and yes I mean we as fans want human artists to make both the music and the art that is displayed on the cover of the album. Do you want the music made by AI as well? We’re getting there. I’m sure you wouldn’t like that.

Do not use AI generated images. Pay actual visual artists. If we let this progress AI will make entire musical albums and there will be no need for musicians. No one would be able to profit from art born out of their own passion. Do you want a world full of meaningless pseudo-art?

Красивые обложки в блэке появляются не так часто, как в других жанрах, поэтому поневоле начинаешь ожидать чего то соответствующего, в таких случаях. И как обычно, это абсолютно напрасные надежды. Вот и в этом случае под артворком притаился не неожиданно сильный материал, а привычное очередное недоразумение, сварганенное из говна и палок. Которое с каким то даже особенным остервенением хочет показать насколько оно далеко находится от изображения, которое до поры маскирует эту первосортную муть.
