Getting a new video card this week. I think I narrowed the projector issue to a bad video output port on the card. Time for an upgrade anyway.

@@RainmanHST nice! What are you getting?

@@simulatedflyer I’m guessing a 4070 or something? Using ATI right now but going to switch back to Nvidia
@simulatedflyer Жыл бұрын
What do you have right now? I have a 3070 and it does great, also I’m only using 1 screen and TrackIR, I can only imagine what it takes to run your MFDs and the projectors!

@@simulatedflyer it’s a Radeon 5700

Awesome vids man. Thanks for sharing it all. Just one thing : I don't think IRL you'd go tied on your lead with master arm on ? That's quite serious :) Happy flying !
@RainmanHST Жыл бұрын
Yes absolutely you would. Long gone are the 60s when you needed authorization to go to master arm. You are armed at the fence and you don’t go out of arm until you fence out. There are other redundancies like long presses etc to make sure you don’t fire off a slammer on your lead.

@@RainmanHST alright very good to know thanks. I was told the opposite but neither me nor the person who told me have IRL knowledge.
@RainmanHST Жыл бұрын
@@flow3219 I think the safest argument is would I actually tie my flight lead in a missile override mode? Preferably not! Lol. But yeah those switches don’t dearm until we have fenced out.

Amazing setup!, have you considered flying DCS with it?
@RainmanHST Жыл бұрын
Thanks. I have DCS on another computer that I tinker with from time to time. But I only use BMS for my simulator.

DCS is shit and you wasted your money

Where did you buy the metal cockpit?

Watch my cockpit builds and it explains it all. There are 6 parts.
