Quick question good Sir. They say you ship out from MEPS, do you have to go through all that testing again? Color vision, eye test, hearing test, blood work etc... or is it just a quick check up?

Pretty much you get undressed again for the doctor and they make sure you have no new injuries, and then they get height and weight. I don’t think they take a urine test from what i’ve heard, but just pretty much that quick check.

Then when you get to BMT they do another full physical check and other stuff to make sure you’re qualified to keep going. It’s all in your processing first week

You can bring running shoes but some people may advise against it because running shoes are provided for you and BMT.

Hey thanks for the videos. I need your opinion on this... I like to use an electric razor because a regular razor with a blade leaves me with a lot of in grown hairs/nastiness. I've heard that at BMT some guys have a "display" razor and then the razor they actually use. If that's true, could I have a reg razor I never use as a display razor and use my electric then hide it somewhere that doesn't matter so much for inspections? People still get their hair cut by other airman in the dorms (Not telling you to do that haha.) If you go to Sheppard for your tech school, the barber shop across the street is sketch but dudes can cut super good. I went there every weekend before I went out. Haircuts at the BX at Sheppard is the worst, I do not recommend.
