Recently, I traveled from Baroda to Ahmedabad via two expressways: the new Padra/Vadodara to Dodka expressway (25 km) and the old expressway. The toll for the new expressway was ₹95, costing ₹3.8 per km for a single trip and ₹2.9 per km for a round trip. In comparison, the old expressway costs only ₹1.45 per km for a single trip and ₹1.1 per km for a round trip. This means people are paying 260% more for this particular section of the new expressway. Unfortunately, the quality of the new expressway is so poor that driving at the legal high speed of 120 km/h is nearly impossible. At such speeds, your car often feels like it’s flying-similar to being on a roller coaster. The situation is equally bad on the extended stretch to Bombay road (Padra/Vadodara to Dehagam/Bharuch). The road quality is pathetic, and the toll charges are exorbitantly high. If this is what’s considered development, then I truly feel hopeless about the future of this country.

Mr Maheshwari Don't be silly about 80 cr idling. In fact all lower strata are working harder and more, no one is idling. Only thing these are doing slave jobs or menial work or low earning works. So issue is not so drumbeated subsidy. Issue is wasteful expenses of government on inauguration and keeping MPs and high officials as kingly and queenly and the enormous corruption.

Finally I have decided to do investing and do such a business that just covers my household expenses. Is it a gud choice.? I am 34 yrs old and in markets since 4-5 years.

Basant Sir, I have been saying this since last 3 months - with GDP below 2%, rural distress, high unemployment, low middle class savings & visionless Government - this economy didn't deserve any premium valuation - As I said 3 months back - Nifty is down nearly 2,000 points. But come 2025 and Budget you will see much lower levels. The market was moving only due to liquidity, greed of retail investors, greed of Fund managers and Finfluencers.

Sir You are absolutely right on the view of Indian traffic mess, enough efforts are definitely not in by regulators costing lot of lives every year and ppl just move on as if nothing has happened. Question: existing subscriber I don't understand much when media talks open interest, call out ratio and other terms related to f&o is it required to understand these for long term investor??

Aapke CA ne bhi fees badhaya hoga after seeing your increment only for fun purpose.. i agree with you view to increase fees from 1 lakh to 2 lakh as everyone has right value it's own time. Being a CA i can understand.

You are absolutely right, sir. The fees should definitely be increased. I am also a technical consultant, and after reaching a certain level, I too have increased my fees over the last three years. However, those who understand the importance of my expertise still pay the fees. Now, I also get time for myself, my health, and to spend quality moments with my family. There is nothing wrong in this approach. Those who will earn 100 times the profit from consulting or understand its value will surely pay the fees. And besides, you are already providing free education through KZbin.
