Sir the reason for lower FDI is higher direct taxes... if foreign investor invests he have to pay 25% local tax and on Dividend they have to pay 40% tax if there is no double taxation treaty amounts to 65% tax plus surcharge and cess + GST... why they will come.

You do have a point on GDP growth, where is it? Possibly a few in certain sectors are getting richer similar to in IT boom that out-priced common citizen from property market in cities. Then, we saw the collapse. Govt must ensure income disparity comes down, very important if India has to grow.

Just to help you Patel Engineering Fundamentals: Low PE (Positive) Low Price to book value (Positive) Top Line is improving year by year by 10 - 20 % growth (Positive) Bottom Line is also improving from last 3 years with rapid pace (Positive) Company has very low debt. (Positive) Promoter's more than 85% holding is on pledge (Negative) So fundamentals are impressive for this company but 1 negative point is there. Technicals: Technical analysis shows that this stock can take sometime (may be 1 year or so) before giving big returns but in short term we can expect 97 once it crosses 79. After that it should spend some time there. But once it crosses 100 and it sustains above 100 for some time then it can give huge returns. So if I combine Fundamentals and technicals then it seems that investors are waiting for pledge % to go down before investing. This is just for study purpose as its my passion. Kindly check with sir and other experts before investing.

Good morning! Sir, I am in IT industry I worked for one of our client, they are into power distribution equipment manufacturing. In two years I came to know while dealing with R&D they have niche products and models sold were made in 80's. I purchased few stocks of its Indian subsidary in 2022. It became more than double and I sold them last month. Theory Circle of competence is abolutely true. I just came to know it was mentioned and noticed by Warrenbuffet.
