Yes, I completely agree that budget on education and healthcare should be increased in the govt. budget and focus should be more in these two sectors.....roads and bridges, the Tolls being charged will only be useful if the employment is increased and general population is more educated and getting good healthcare.....a poor should not feel helpless thinking of healthcare.......building infrastructure is good , but giving and providing a good education and providing good healthcare is more important....

Sir both state and centre both are involved in edu and health sector . I am from health sector state do a poor job in recruiting staff for a health care facility permanent seats recruuitment level is very low and on top of that people are working for 15k to 20 k(nurses and gp D ) since many years on contract basis . Jab recruitment hi nahi hai to kaha se quality denge and jo bhi fund ata hai usme bhi top level ppl take lion share .

Is midnapore not like a mini Pakistan if ur own security & regulatory agencies can’t enter it. Why do we tolerate such anti state pockets. Where is the state administration?

Even if we are educated, employed, wealthy, etc. we still want everything that I can get free. Otherwise our polity would not be like what it is. Have a friend retired from defence getting a pension of more than Rupees one lakh per month, all medical care for him and his wife from government, grocery to liquor from the CSD canteen at paltry prices and many other facilities. They turn the world upside down to get the freebies guaranteed from state govt in Karnataka. Free power, cash of Rs 2000 per month, ration, etc......! Do you now understand why we are like this? Why our politicians are like this? When I get everything free just for one vote once in five years why work!!!!!!! We love to be poor!!!!!!!
