BMW 1M Gets Some Interior Improvements

My 1m door card has a scratch where someone tried to pop free the tweeter... part is NLA (no longer available) ... I wonder if I could transplant the alcantara across to a 135i door card.

That blue stripe in the middle of the steering wheel you should change it to red or orange to match the stitching of the interior but it’s still very nice

its not being given away. He's doing some raffle thing. He will get easily triple what that car is worth. Replacing a few parts he already had laying around is whatever.. its not like he has the energy or time to resell those parts.

You are partially correct. I don't have any of this stuff laying around. I bought them all. I will likely make a bunch of cash in this giveaway thing otherwise I wouldn't do it. I would just sell it. It would be a lot easier. But I would be doing all of this stuff to the car either way. I'm building it for me.

Once your done with the M1 and it's gone you should do a series building a TTRS. Not sure if your an Audi fan but with some basic mods you can break into the high 9s 1/4 mile. Thing is my dream car.

Great video as always. Did your door panels come with the Alcantara from BMW OEM or was it an aftermarket addition? They much better than the standard leather ones. I was wondering if they make it for the F80 M3 as well. If they are OEM I will try to hunt some down.

My M3 came with some fancy pedal covers already in place, but the screws are long and it's possible to hook a shoe lace on them - that's NO BUENO when driving! Didn't see how long your screws were...just FYI.

That was a super interesting video. I had a lot more trouble drilling through my M2’s brake pedal. It was extremely hard steel and ate through half of a drill bit, lol.
