BMW 320i F30 N20 cold start engine whine

Oil pump balance shaft. 50% of this N20 engine Will start to have this noise. I will change The oil pump în January and if the sound GOES away i Will reply.

Costi Ariton im having the same sound on cold start after a 10 mins drive the whine goes out Is it a serious problem ? And can i do to repair it ? Btw the timing chain is still tight no slack

@@YK-lk3po next week i Will replace the oil pump on my N20 with 214k km. I will post after if any improvment is notice. The oil pump from N20 is with pressure on demand... Not like other pumps that push 5psi at 3000, on our cars the pump is pushing 1psi over the rev indicator: 3000 rpm 4 psi pressure and so on.

@@YK-lk3po from what i serached this shit îs normal în time, i Will change The oil pump because i Will do a stage 1 and i want to be sure on oil. Pressure and to get rid of noise.
