Gorgeous car, still turns heads to this day. Parts are not terribly expensive, and mechanically quite a straightforward thing to maintain. I daily mine (a late 2011 model, got it used in 2020) and have done 50,000 blissful kilometres. For prospective owners, just do your due diligence and service on time. Don't skimp on parts and replace them as the handbook suggests. Thanks for taking the time to do this video, Kon! Looking forward to part two ;)

Yes, it does turn heads still compared to somewhat anodyne F30. I have a 2011 as well and it still looks butch. Agree that parts are (relatively) inexpensive. Only caveat on ownership is that it drinks fuel like a lager lout!

Great review. I own 325i msport last batch of 2012. 100% in original form. Never regret. Been driving it as daily commute of 80km round trip. The refinement of straight 6 is awesome. Power is enough. F30 mayb powerful, but how e90 deliver it is different. Will surely keep for many years to come.

Nice review.. i've been searching for a Malaysian review on this car for quite a while. I own one.. 2010 model .. bought it in 2019. Did the necessary maintenance so my wife could use it as a daily driver. I only drive it on weekends or on long trips. Nice car .. love the way she handles the twisties. Recently took her to Krabi and back without any issues... now my 17 year old son wants her as well..😊😊

The 323i i believe has the more comfortable suspension setup compared to the 325i, which had the lowered M Sport suspension. Looks wise, of course the 325i will look more garang. But the 323i looks more elegant. In the end, looks is subjective.

I just got my hands on a 323i 2012 Edition model exactly 1 month ago. No regrets as I was choosing between the 325i and the 323i. All I did after that was to send it to RS Dyno for a remap to unleash the power of the engine similar to the 325i, but the rev limit still stays the same and auto shifts at 6,200 / 6,300 RPM.

Hi Mr Kon, I own a 320d LCI 180bhp 380nw , bought brand new in 2012 , still driving it until today, maintain as a first wife , every parts are genuine bmw parts, service still goes back to bmw . I have been told by bmw service department, saying gear oil is for life, meaning no need to change, is it true ?? Please advise. The mileage now is 297+++ km .
@KonWaiLuen Жыл бұрын
When they say gear oil for life, what you need to take note is the definition of a car's lifespan, which the industry considers to be 10 years before most cars end up being scrapped. If you have never changed ATF before, don't bother to do it now at 297,000km, but be ready to overhaul the transmission when you feel the gearbox starting to jerk.

Nice car. I'm currently driving 2014 Jetta. Just bought a used 2018 Tiguan for wife to replace her Polo 1.6. Looking to replace my Jetta now in anticipation of more 1.5T+DCT on the road (HAHAHAHA). Care to comment on 2014 328i GT vs A4 2.0 Quattro vs W204 C300 sir? (W204 C300 is very rare, only 1 unit i found in the range of 328GT and A4).
@KonWaiLuen11 ай бұрын
Have you tested them? Very different cars. I would go for 328i GT in this three, but the A4 Quattro merits consideration too. The W204 is also not bad, but that 3.0 V6 is old tech and quite lazy in its character.
