Welcome to Steptronic87! KZbin's one of prosperous automotive channel! In today's video, I'll take an up close and, in depth look at the 2004 BMW 3-series E46 convertible.
This car is in mint condition. It has covered almost 200,000 km. It has the m paket II kit. Grey exterior, black alcantara interior. Manual six speed transmission. 18" MV2 wheels. 225/40 R18 tires. It has the inline 3 liter petrol M54 engine and makes 230 Hp, with 300Nm of torque. 0-60 is 6.9 seconds with this amazing convertible

I have owned 3 of these wonderful convertibles, my current e46 330ci still drives like new are 13 years. I have owned more expensive convertibles, Porsche and Mercedes but none can match the silky power delivery and nimbleness of this bmw. Sometime looking at shiny and new I think maybe I should buy a new car but then I drop the top and go for a drive. It still gets me!

Bill, i am with you - I have this exact car now for 10 years. it was 3 when i bought it, it was my dream car then, and I drive it every day, and i enjoy it every time. I tell myself that my next car will be a tesla, but i honestly cannot see when i will ever replace this lovely car. i can't believe it, but i just watched this video end to end and realized half way through it that i still love watching it even on a youtube video. i can't think of anything else in my life that has aesthetically held my attention for so long. (that is not a person) Do i have a fetish?

Bill Clemett Are these reliable? I’ve owned a 2003 325i sedan and stayed having problems. I’ve moved on to a late model c300 and looking for a second car. I figured getting one of these my be better than just a regular 325, but scared I’ll spend more time fixing it than actually driving it

Yes it is. This thing keeps going and going been driving one since 2003. Csll break your wallet on bearings and gearbox. Yes it drives better but never had as much fun as in this great sounding car

I own e46 smg convertible 2005, nothing wrong with the gearbox, my girlfriend loves the car and acts as if it belongs to her lol, but if I had the money I would buy a e46 csl but they are going between 47k to 65k way out my league, they are becoming a collectors item, beautiful cars

Yes I did bro and everything checked out fine. A few weeks later the transmission transfer case started leaking so I got that repaired. Then a week after that conv top would not go up. Prior to all this everything worked fine. So I sold it to my nephew. He has more time to work on it.

Hi guys, I have a 330ci 2005 model, the roof is not responding even though I can hear the motor is responding, what could be the problem? The car is the South African car it does not have that option of manual locking on the roof, even when I close the roof manually, it does not lock.

+Kriss Vector Incase you are still wondering, I used have one of these with an automatic gear box and it was smooth as anything, nothing failed and no weird noises from the automatic gearbox.
