How much horsepower and torque is the car running? Is this with just egr delete and downpipe?

How did you set the shift point? I have the same car xhp st3 i set mwx RPM to 4300 in M ans S and i boot it in them modes it still revs out to 5k, annoying as cars slow after 4000 ish rpm

Is it something to do with the lockdown? And also does the car pull harder reducing torque reduction? Whilst increasing shift speed in M mode
@GTkyle3 ай бұрын
@@jordanmachell4076 all settings ONLY apply below the kickdown. You have to get really good at flooring it up against the kick down switch without actually clicking it. You can't just stick your foot through the floorboard. Going negative with torque reduction doesn't necessarily make the car faster. You feel the shift more but it executes slower because it's making the shift with torque still applied. As far as shift speeds, I have mine set to medium, fast, fast and I really like it
@GTkyle3 ай бұрын
@@jordanmachell4076 also you need to set the shift points to 4300 in D and S mode as well
@jordanmachell40763 ай бұрын
Ah okay thanks I'll have a look through the settings now, I increased torque reduction by 10% and shifts feel great but based on videos of mine it seems to pull slower, I'll go negative and see how that goes but increased shift speeds in M mode to 20%. Would you say go negative 20 on torque reduction in sport and manual mode yeh? And without kickdown is the the car still at 100% throttle?
@GTkyle3 ай бұрын
@@jordanmachell4076 I would leave the torque reduction at 0 for D, -25 in sport and -25 in manual, but change the shift speeds to medium, fast, and fast for all 3. Set max rpm to 4300rpm in drive, sport, and M modes. Select "relaxed+" for shift points in sport mode (so it hangs gears at part throttle). Yes. With your foot against the kickdown switch you are WOT. Leave the kickdown enabled, because it's nice to be able to whack it real fast for a quick downshift. Then lightly let your foot click up off it so you shift at 4300rpm and not the factory 4800 or whatever it is.

much much quicker than the first revision

Absolutely, these engines just run out of breath above 4500rpm. That 4300 shift point puts it right in the sweet spot where it is still pulling really well when it hits the next gear

I'm about to order the xHP flash for my 335d. What did you use to connect to the car? K-DCAN cable or something else?
@GTkyle7 ай бұрын
I use the Bimmergeeks K-Dcan cable. I bought the Protool bundle from them and I suggest you do too. You can't own one of these cars and do any repairs without that tool.

@@GTkyle Got it done, thanks! What other mods are done to the 335d?
@GTkyle6 ай бұрын
@@blck04gt as far as performance goes, just a 2.5 tune and supporting mods. Stock turbos, stock fuel and r70. Car runs good for the minimal stuff done to it

What’s the reasoning for 4300 shift point? I left my shift point the same as the stock one. Is there any benefits?
@GTkyle6 ай бұрын
@@joshbittman4876 I tried a lot of different shift points and the power falls off when you let it rev out. So I kept lowering the shift points until it felt like it it was hitting the next gear in the meat of the power band still. This is the sweet spot on a stock fuel stock turbo tuned car, I don't care what anyone else says.
