Okay, I got it. The 440I uses a closed deck engine block design and uses a liquid to air intercooler. Which means the B58 engine can run higher boost then the N55 and has a superior cooling system.

@@25252ben it had one owner from new when I bought it. I sold it in 2019 to a BMW main dealer in Edinburgh. It was completely standard when I bought and sold it. Had the upgraded power plant which was from bmw. Think it added 20/30 bhp and it had the m performance exhaust from stock

Great video,just picked up my 435d gran coupe with msport plus pack in mineral grey with loads of extras,cost £49k new got it 6 months old with 9k miles on for £30,500 and it looks mint.

Mark Gowans nice motor 👌🏼 I was torn between the 435d GC and the 335d but ended up with the 335. Exact same engine both beautiful cars, 4 series is just that bit sexier! 👍🏼

Its is a beautiful colour! Its not a standard colour though. Its a BMW Individual Colour and would be circa anything from £4k to £7k

326 standard, 360 with Exhaust.great car just bought one, now I'm sat with the dilemma do i get that Exhaust pack at 2200 with carbon tips, not too bothers about the body kit, as i know i,ll end up ripping that splitter off on a hump near me..great review

Robert Smith Do it! added to mine before Christmas and fantastic power delivery, just check the new European regulations that have come into force regarding max dB levels with exhausts with values (videos on KZbin with showing how much quieter new ones are) the crackle of the pre reg one is addictive in sports plus!

The way it pulls at any speed it´s amazing. It feels the same moving in 70 mph and give the throttle as from cityspeeds and full gas on.

I have one of these in Red. Ride ain't that bad and the difference between this and my previous 335i is very noticeable in pick up from standing start and the noise it makes. True about the front splitter though put a small crack in mine already 😢

I have a couple of questions, regarding the ground clearance with the front splitter, you mention it’s quite low and having to go careful, just how bad is it, do you have to go like 2mph over any speed bumps? And was this car equipped with the M sport adaptive suspension?

No Adaptive on the vehicle, only the standard M-Sport. The main concern is catching the front splitter on a kerb when driving into a car parking space.

Yes it was running on RFT's. My old 335d was running on 19" wheels with RFT's and I found the ride quality really good. I do believe though that the 335d xdrive's have SE springs and run higher than M Sport suspension.

Good motor, but these only make sense at 45k. Go over 50 and you're into M4 territory with no trouble.

Yes, but there are huge discounts on the 440i and very few on the M4 (5.9% APR) now. I've just bought a heavily discounted 440i (2.9% APR) just like this one and it was much cheaper than an M4 specced with similar kit.

You are right, F80 M3 is 431bhp.....with the competition pack it's 450bhp. It was a slight error on my part.

I’d rather have the 435d has same equipment as 440i but remapped pushes 397bhp and 850nm and 0.60 4.1secs. Only down side no exhaust sound in 435d. Do love petrol bmw exhaust and engine sounds
