BMW 440i MPPSK Exhaust Sound

BMW's newest B58s engine seen in the 440i really does sound good with BMW's own MPPSK kit, boosting power from the standard 326bhp to 360-380bhp.

Since when have you installed the kit? Does it still have the „Gunshots“ when you drop of throttle at 6k rpm like in the other power and sound kit vids here in KZbin?

steart Sometimes it does some very loud bangs yes.

@@steart1987 in the 2019-2020 mppsk they toned down Burbles in the exhaust as they didn’t want it to be better then the new m340i

does your 440 have the n55 motor? or b58 motor? i'm reading in BMW's site that the MPPSK is not available for the 2019 440i with b58 motor :(

That doesn't sound accurate. I've got a 340(B58) and I've got MPPSK fitted

Talha Nawaz This is the B58. The MPPSK is a dealer option.

NickF14 got it. I’ll have to look into another dealer who offers it. Until then; I’ve decided to do a bootmod3 tune with VRSF downpipes. I’ve heard/seen major power and sound gains from that!

It’s not available on 440i registered after June 2018, because they have a GPF filter after that which isn’t compatible with the M Performance Exhaust

MPPSK is the factory tune and the M-exhaust :)

at which rpm do you shift and let the throttle of, so it bangs like 4:11?

It's probably only 3-4k, but will do it when changing gear after accelerating quite hard.

You can order it with the car or upgrade to it afterwards.
