I have that car with the 2l petrol i6. Does not pull like a steam locomotive but the comfort is miles ahead from many modern cars i've driven til now

I'm pretty sure she packs a serious punch it kicks from 1750 rpm if memory served and even in 5th gear at high speed( +180 kph) you can steel feeling it pulling the seat is that right SLK?

It's definitely more comfortable. But compared with 330D, which is lighter and has tighter suspention, the 530D feels slower.

It sounded a lot noisier than the e46, is that true? What differences in fuel consumption do you get compared to the 330d e46?

I drive around 6.2 litres manual, at least the Computer says so.. Noise level is absolutely quiet, but when accelerating you can hear the stunning "roar" of the inline 6 3.0 diesel. God damn i love that sound its addicting haha! drive a 530d myself

I heard its more quiet than in most of the cars. Lvl of the noise in Db is on the good level for ears.
