@@jackliddell8739 What's surprising is that the S8 has a bad weight distribution (56/44 for D4 models), yet is so quick. Quickest cars at 0-100 kmh are usually rear or mid engine like huracan, 911 or corvette, so their weight in the back help the acceleration. The 530hp 750i xdrive is pretty quick too

I drove the same model few times. It is a very nice car, 150kph feels like cruising 50. The 4wd is very handy at accelerations, it can beat the m3 of the same era. Although it is quite heavy, it handles really well, and I didn't feel like it was that big. The seats are the most comfortables I've ever sat in.

I've got a Stage 2 (Bootmod3 and catless downpipes) 750Li and nobody... and I mean NOBODY believes it until they are in it and experience it. I've put the fear into a few friends who were just not expecting it to get up and go and then just keep going. It's not as heavy as people think and this is the car of no compromises. I love the praise he gives this car, considering he's pretty much driven everything fast.

@@msid-xg6qe no, just removed the old pipes and cats and code the sensors out with Bootmod3. I was already running stage 1 Bootmod3 so just loaded the Stage 2 map at the same time as coding it out.

Off the shelf tunes like race chip are fine for a fully stock engine. Custom tunes are necessary when you have mixed and matched engine mods. Some companies will sell a tune specifically for their ITE kits or ITE+turbo kit just for convenience but those tunes are usually conservative and a custom tune will yield better performance. Long story short.. race chip or other OTS for stock, custom for anything else. Just a good rule of thumb to avoid headaches.

Its no way as safe / reliable or good way to tune engine than a custom tune / map which is loaded / flashed INTO the ECU. I personally would never connect such boxes in a modern, expensive performance cars like AMG / M / RS or such. All these boxes, RaceChip being just one of many, are generally poor mans tune.

N63 TU2 (2016-2019 750i/M550i) is definitely up there for reliability. Also, N63TU2 (2019 X5 50i and X7 50i) are really good in terms of reliability. N63TU3 is also really good for reliability (2019-Present M550i, 750i, M850i, X5 M50i, X6 M50i, X7 M50i)

Yes, but easier to do because the ECU is unlocked so you can very easily do Stage 2 RON98. The mechanic that looks after my car says its considerably faster than the stock M760Li's he services and about as fast as his previous gen M5 with about 500 rear wheel KW. Look up BootMod3.

Just wait... this engine stage 2 just with the downpipe and tune ( not box ) makes approx 720 HP...so imagine extra 130HP to this video:)...I drive Audi A8 d4 4.0 tuned to 620Hp that makes approx 8 sec 100-200 ( not measured wirh the device ) adn I want more...So 750 is on my list as a next sleeper:) the only thing I dont like is the old interior that didn't change at all with the lifting. It just looks old like smaler old models....:(
