Excellent work, Mike! Your “Cheaper Beamer” will be super nice once painted. If done right won’t be cheap especially if you change the color but, either way it will be a looker.

I would go with the same color. The cost of changing to something different with getting all the door jams, etc. painted will cost you a lot. If money were no issue, then sure, change it. But budget wise, the same color makes sense since it looks like you're probably needing at least one window regulator and some work on the sunroof. Just my opinion.

Yes, I like the hair cut, you don't look a day older than 39. I'd repaint the car in the classy stock gold, it'll look a million dollars especially with those lovely cross spoke alloys. I could be wrong, but I think the later facelift headlights also require later fenders as the indicators may be different. The pooch can't figure out why you keep talking to yourself....😂

Hey Mike! Great content as usual, a pleasure to watch. If you plan to keep it, track all the vacuum leaks (and there will be trust me), check timing guides and chain for the oil pump, and every single suspension bushings will be shot.
