Hey, weird thing I checked my lights they are going up and down when I start the car but after trying your testing method they aren't going left and right, that means my AHL is broken or is something else? Can you help if you want. Thanks in advance!

Hi, so i have an issue with my adaptive headlight. I recently got some water in the driver side headlight, turned out the cap on the top was loose somehow. Anyways, had to replace the ballast and the adaptive headlight control unit. Got them both off Amazon. Well initially I had the issue where it won't even auto level when you start the car, friend of mine came and plugged in ISTA, no errors of any sort, solid green light on the headlight dial, showed no issues of any sort. He just reset it and now it's auto leveling BUT no swiveling side to side. Can't get to figure out why, again no codes of any sort whatsoever. Because it doesn't swivel side to side, it points straight down and there's a gap between where the driver side is pointing and where the passenger side is. Any idea why its doing this?

Hey, English is not my language so I didn't understand what you said about the led near the automatic light switch. Can someone explain. I'm trying to fix my adaptative headlights on a e88 and mine is blinking.

If yours are blinking that means ALC system has error, most of the time its the SMC module underneath the headlight flooded with water and had to be replaced. Better get an OBD reader and see what is the error code before further move.

It's pre LCI, but I've upgraded to LM2 and SMC2 module, I think you can do the test on similar generation BMW like E90, E65, E87 and so on.
