This is a very well done video that clearly points out the operation of the screen and wonderwheel. I just bought a 2015 RT and while I thought I had a general idea of how this worked, I really had no idea as to some of the subtleties involved. BMWNA should use this as their prime instructional video on this operation. Great job! Thanks much.

I have a test ride booked next saturday on a R1200RT 2014 model and I'm hoping this is similar. Finding this video invaluable to help me test everything before I buy - Thanks!

@@Hermyscycles No, thank you. This is what I love about YT, good people like you who inform us on everything before we buy.

@@Hermyscycles It was more or less the same, the ESA is a little different, but I bought the bike. Thanks again. The instructions aren't great at telling you exactly what DYNAMIC riding mode does.

Excellent, just picked up a 2020 with 6100 miles. What is the “H” next to the gear display? How do I search manually for radio stations? Great stuff
@HermyscyclesАй бұрын
Congrats on your new bike! The H is the hill hold indicator. There are three modes... on, off and auto. With it on, hill hold is activated while the bike is stationary by squeezing the front brake lever firmly. The H will light up green when active. Hill hold will shut off automatically as you release the clutch to pull away. The auto mode will activate on its own when the bike is stationary on a hill. The manual radio controls are described at approximately 9:30 in the video. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching.

The tft on the new ones makes more sense but it’s the same functions as this one.
@Hermyscycles Жыл бұрын
There have been a few subtle tweaks from year to year... however most of the functions will be the same. One item I can think of is the addition of Eco mode. Switching between the modes is done the same way, however there is one additional mode for increasing the mpg of the bike. Thanks for supporting the channel.

They have changed over the years but many of the controls on different years share a similar thought process if not similar controls. If you have any questions feel free to email me Lee@hermys.com Thanks for watching.
I made it slow to allow people to follow along. I know it is really slow if you are just watching it through. Try watching it at 1.5X speed to get the information quicker. Thanks for watching.
